Case Studies

We're extremely pleased with the service offered by Tektonic and will continue to use them for a range of activities.

Tektonic Limited came to our rescue with a tailor made data base for us ! Now we simply enter details for the initial enquiry and estimates work sheets and invoices are produced at the touch of a button. This has also enabled us to issue invoices the very next day as every job does not have to come back through me. A simple colour scheme has made it easy for us to monitor jobs that are incomplete or still on the system 10 days after the order has been received. These features have made our whole operation more efficient, sped up the whole process, reduced the human error factor, saved costs and made it easier for clients too! Finally, I would also like to express our gratitude to Tektonic. They have been available for additions, queries and verification since the first day the product went in. They are very quick to respond, flexible to handling our needs, and truly are a 'can do' Company. I would recommend Tektonic Limited to any organization. Prior to our involvement with Tektonic Limited, all AJL processing was done completely manually – that is each and every estimate was typed into an accounts package, orders received were clipped to the estimate in a file, work instruction sheets were hand written and invoicing was again typed into the accounts package. The tracking of these works was almost zero and done mainly on a manual diary system. Naturally, as we grew, this work became more and more time consuming – culminating in an almost 'full time' job for one of our admin people. Given the laborious nature of this work, mistakes were bound to happen (upwards of 840 jobs per year with 5 separate actions per job!).

From design to maintenance, Tektonic have held our hands! We first met Karen and Tim when we enlisted their skills to build our website. A few years later we contacted them with a complicated challenge… a bespoke database system that could be used by anyone, with any level of technical skills! They created the dream system! They listened and they worked with us and we now have a system that our business relies on. We are able to "check in" customers daily (with a visit timer letting us know the amount chargeable), access historic records and contact information and run a variety of reports. The system also has credit information and lets us know when a customer is running low! Thanks to their creation we have been able to grow our business in and the technology in the background has kept up! If we ever have any problems or a new idea they are at the end of the phone, on email or "pop in" (which involves a 2 hour drive!). We can't imagine working with anyone else for our systems and would recommend them a thousands times over!

We have been clients of Tektonic for many years and are very happy with the service given. They are very prompt at coming to our rescue and very accommodating in arranging meetings at convenient times to us which, being a very busy Veterinary Practice, is very helpful. I would recommend Tektonic to anybody.

I have worked with Karen and Tim at Tektonic for over 5 years now. They built the Bella Jane website when the company was founded and we have worked together ever since. They have been brilliant in developing a range of time-saving systems, including a live stock control system. There is nothing that these geniuses can't do! From the outset they have been a dream to work with, always taking time to understand my business and identifying practical commercial solutions. They are efficient, cost-effective and I wouldn't hesitate in recommending their services to anyone.

Tektonic provide practical, cost effective solutions and focus on what the client actually wants to produce. They are extremely approachable and do not use unnecessary technical jargon to intimidate or confuse ! Tektonic produced an excellent website which we are able to update and manage the content of ourselves. The cost was considerably less than we had been quoted elsewhere and the project was completed within our timeframe. We would certainly use them again and would have no doubts about recommending them to others.
